Using Climate Clauses

These workshops will help you to access and understand our climate clauses, providing you with the tools you need to start including them in contracts.

Using Climate Clauses: Thursday 24 February 1-2pm GMT

This workshop will provide you with tools to build your climate action plan and embed climate solutions into your practice. Hear from members of our community on their progress and tips and tricks for using climate clauses.

Negotiating Climate Clauses (sector specific)

If you would like to familiarise yourself with key sector clauses and build a plan of action for using the clauses in your business or practice, come along to the following sector-specific events:

Net Zero Drafting

Attend these workshops if you would like to learn more about net zero concepts and how they can be incorporated into contracts.

Understanding Net Zero: Tuesday 22 February 9.30-10.30am GMT / 8.30-9.30pm AEDT

Learn about key net zero concepts and what they mean for contract drafting, including how to align with the Paris Agreement goals and science-based targets for emissions reductions.

Applying Net Zero to Contract Clauses: Tuesday 15 March 9.30-10.30am GMT / 8.30-9.30pm AEDT

This workshop will apply what you have learnt about net zero to contract drafting by analysing a contract clause, as well as building your own plan of action to use contract clauses.

You will need to have attended the ‘Understanding Net Zero’ workshop, or watched the Understanding Net Zero video (available soon) and read the Net Zero Drafting Checklist before you attend this session.

Facilitator Training

We are taking expressions of interest for the next rounds of our two-part facilitator training on 2 & 9 March and 16 & 23 March. You will learn how to prepare and deliver a TCLP-style event and take your net zero drafting knowledge to the next level. This is a great opportunity to develop your understanding of climate contracts and to spread the word of drafting for the climate.
