Phoebe Roberts: Recipient of the Mahla Pearlman Australian Young Environmental Lawyer of the Year Award
The Chancery Lane Project (TCLP) is thrilled to share that Phoebe Roberts received this year’s Mahla Pearlman Australian Young Environmental Lawyer of the Year award. This reflects her achievements in environmental law as a Senior Associate in MinterEillison’s Climate Risk and Sustainability Governance team and as APAC Co-lead at TCLP.
The award is named after the late Mahla Pearlman AO, former Chief Judge of the Land and Environment Court of New South Wales and former President of the Law Council of Australia. She pioneered the path for Australian women in law and continues to inspire many young environmental lawyers today.
“Phoebe is a force to be reckoned with, and this award aptly recognises her outstanding contributions to environmental law. We are very lucky to have her at TCLP, and cannot wait to see what else she accomplishes in the field.” Ben Metz, Executive Director of TCLP.
