The GHG Protocol is one of the most commonly used greenhouse gas accounting standards. It defines and standardises the measurement of Scope 1, 2 and 3 Emissions for organisations.

TCLP’s definition of scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions is taken from page 27 of the GHG Protocol.
